The Other Uchiha Prologue

I look up from the book I am reading as I hear footsteps coming towards my room. I know those footsteps all to well. When I hear them I know that they are coming to take my to the evaluation room. I sigh and put my book down. 'I'm not going to be able to finish this today.' I sit on my bed and wait for the worker to get to my door.
I hear the footsteps stop just out side my door. I hear the worker whisper something under his breath, but I couldn't make out just what he said. I listen as he unlocks the door. "Are you away from the door?" He asks.
"Yes, I'm sitting on my bed." I say calmly. It was routine for them to make sure that you are away from the door. I watch as he opens the door all the way then steps in. I was expecting him to have the handcuffs with him, as they are required to use some sort of restraining device when moving us from room to room, but this time all he had was a bag. He must have seen me looking at it because he spoke first.
"You're being let out." It was a small sentence with a lot of meaning to it.
"Why?" In truth, I wasn't too happy about it. I liked it here I was safe here.
"Because Sasuke left the village and the Hokage wants your help…" I decided to cut him off.
"Why would I care about what Sasuke does? He obviously didn't care about me. And why would I care about what the Hokage wants, wasn't it the Hokage who put me in here?" I look around my completely white room. I didn't have anything in this room except for a bed and a toilet.
"That Hokage is dead, this is a new Hokage. She's looked over all your charts and decided that you are stable enough to be let out. She also thinks you are stable enough to go back to being a ninja."
"And if I have no interest in that?"
"You'll have to take that up with her." He sounded like I should be happy about being let out, he sounding like I should be jumping for joy that some one has decided that I am able to live a normal life now. However, I'm not happy about it, at least not right now. "Here are some clothes for you to change into. When your done knock on the door." I just nod as he walks out of the room. I have no choice but to comply with him. I take off my all white clothes and then put on the clothes in the bag. I wasn't too happy about what they had given me to wear. It looked like something that Sasuke should be wearing. My shirt was blue with a high collar and a huge Uchiha symbol on the back and my shorts were just a shade darker than white.
Once I was completely done dressing I go over and knock on the door then step back. I watch as a nurse goes over and gets my old clothes and takes them away. "You can take the book with you." I nod then go over and grab my book then follow him out of my room. "You need to sign a couple of things then I'll take you over to the ninja academy. Again, I just nod and he takes me over to one of the workers desks. There was a woman working behind the counter. I couldn't help get annoyed when she didn't notice us standing there. "Would you stop reading that magazine and get his paper work for us.
"Oh!" She jumps when he talks. "Oh, yes of course, sorry." I watch as she walks over to a filing cabinet. "I need your name please. Last then first if you will."
"Uchiha Yasuragi." I state plainly.
"Oh yes, of course, I should have be able to recognize, you look just like him." Of course, she was comparing me to him. I mean, why wouldn't she? Everyone else does. I don't respond to her comment and I ignore her rambling on about my family. I watch as she pulls my large file and then takes out a single slip of paper. My own personal release form. "Aright I just need you to sign the bottom of the page and you are free to go Uchiha-kun.
I take the pen she held up for me then grab the document then quickly sign it. She smiles as she takes everything away from me. I look up to the worker; he nods at the woman then motions for me to follow him. We walk through the maze of hallways until we are at the front door to the building. He stops and looks back at me. I just nod and continue to walk out of the building.
When I get outside, I have to shield my eyes from the bright sun. Once my eyes have adjusted to the light I lower my arm and look back the building that I've called home for the last couple of years. I read the name that adorns the front of it. 'KONOHA ASYLUM'.
